The Importance of Calling on Divine Order

"The best laid schemes of mice and men / Go oft awry." ~~ Robert Burns

"Desire is prayer; and no loss can occur from trusting God with our desires, that they may be moulded and exalted before they take form in words and in deeds." ~~ Mary Baker Eddy
When I call on Divine Order, I am calling on the universal attributes of Beauty, Love, Harmony, Oneness, Peace, Perfection, Symmetry and Wholeness to be made manifest in my body, my thoughts, my feelings, my affairs, my experiences and my relationships in every moment. In other words, I am surrendering myself and my plans to Divine Order whose ways are always perfect.

The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was I thanked Divine Order for unfolding perfectly.

My mother had an appointment to see the consultant at the hospital today in preparation for her operation at the end of this month. One of mum's friend had suggested she catch a mini cab to the hospital but I thought, as I was accompanying her to the hospital, we could easily get there by bus. I had even looked up the bus timetables and planned our journey with military precision so we could connect with the other bus route at the right time.

On the way to the bus stop, it started raining. Mum asked me to call a mini cab. During the cab journey, we noticed a huge traffic jam on the road we would have travelled on if we'd gone by bus. There's no way we would have caught the next bus that takes us straight to the hospital; and we would have been late for mum's appointment. The route the mini cab took to the hospital was completely clear of traffic and we got to the hospital with time to spare. Mum was very relaxed and happy, which reflected in her blood pressure reading.

While man's plans can often go awry, Divine Order is always perfect as It is all-knowing and everywhere present. That's why I believe it's so important to call on Divine Order at all times.

I trust in Divine Order.
